After leading Vanderbilt to the greatest season in program history, Diego Pavia has been voted the 2025 Premier Player of College Football. Pavia guided the Commodores to a school-record 10 victories, earned SEC Offensive Player of the Year honors, won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, and finished as the Heisman Trophy runner-up.

A former junior college quarterback who never stopped believing in himself, Pavia rewrote the Vanderbilt record book with 3,539 passing yards, 29 passing touchdowns, and 872 rushing yards with 10 rushing touchdowns, proving that determination and leadership can transform an entire program.

The Premier Player of College Football Award is the nation’s premier fan-voted award, recognizing the player who inspired fans through exceptional performance, leadership, and impact throughout the season.
