The Premier Players Sports Foundation exists to develop Premier Players for life by inspiring excellence in sports, leadership, character, life skills, and service.

We believe sports are about far more than wins and championships. They are a powerful platform for building confidence, strengthening character, developing leaders, and preparing young people for success in every area of life.

To celebrate excellence, the Foundation proudly presents two groundbreaking, first-of-their-kind national awards and one of the first college awards to focus on both on-field and off-field accomplishments.

The Premier Player Award is the first pure fan-driven college sports award, giving fans a direct voice in recognizing the nation’s most outstanding athletes across NCAA football, basketball, baseball, softball, hockey, and professional football.

The Premier Coach of College Football Award is the first fan-driven national coaching award, honoring the coach fans believe led their team beyond expectations during an unforgettable season.

The Freddie Solomon Community Spirit Award is one of the first major college football awards recognizing collegiate athletes whose leadership, character, and service create a lasting impact both on the field and throughout their communities.

But our mission doesn’t stop at the college level.

To help shape the next generation of leaders, the Foundation created the Premier Player Youth Award, a character-based recognition program available to middle schools, high schools, recreation leagues, and youth sports organizations nationwide. Coaches and organizations can purchase the award to recognize athletes who exemplify the P.L.A.Y.E.R. standard:

The Premier Player Youth Award is one part of The Premier Player Journey™, our youth development framework that helps young people grow from participants into leaders through sports, life skills, leadership development, and service. The journey continues through the Premier Players Academy™, where participants develop the confidence, character, and practical life skills needed to succeed both on and off the field.

Together with our equipment assistance, scholarships, mentoring, volunteer opportunities, and community partnerships, we’re helping youth discover their potential and build brighter futures.
